Our imaginary journey to Japan inspired this design.

The boat appliqué is hand-stitched and hand-embroidered with leftovers from a real Japanese Kimono and follows the Japanese ancestral mending technique “Boro”.

The Japanese symbol stitched as a lucky charm with a silver thread means “Happiness”.

The red rising sun is the symbol of Japan.
